Job description



Experience & Qualifications:

·  High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
·  Minimum of 5 years hands-on industry experience required
·  Excellent written and oral communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and present complicated information clearly. Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access)
·  Strong time management skills and ability to work both independently and within a team environment
·  Must have basic knowledge of building systems including but not limited to
·  PLC Logic
·  Motor & Pump Systems
·  Speed & Feed Systems
·  Hydraulics
·  Tooling
·  General building HVAC, electrical, compressed air, natural gas, and plumbing systems

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·  Manage Electrician, Millwright, Machine Repair, & Pipefitter Tradesmen to optimize maintenance capabilities through skills development, tools and technology
·  Manage Vendor support for OEM and other outside service providers, remaining compliant with GM Management of Change (MOC), and Safety Contract Management (SCM) processes
·  Collaborate with Technical Machine Cleaning Team to perform machine maintenance tasks
·  Collaborate with Operations Team for maintenance, repair, and machine upgrades to maximize life cycle of critical equipment
·  Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical control systems on critical equipment
·  Ability to diagnose fault codes of Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, and other Operating Systems
·  Deliver Continuous Improvement on Total Productive Maintenance Metrics for MTTR/MTBF
·  Provide daily Fast Response reporting for customer disruptions
·  Support Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) and Business Plan Development (BPD) processes
·  Support Interruption Process to conduct weekend and holiday shutdown planning through collaboration with Department Leads and Plant Engineering
·  Operate managed labor following the current JLL / UAW Collective Bargaining Agreement
·  Perform all customer service within the contract language of the Master Service Agreement
·  Manage Corrigo and Maximo Work Order processes to satisfy customer needs and KPI metrics
·  Perform Preventative & Predictive Maintenance to achieve maximum useful life of equipment
·  Support continuous improvement and culture for excellence for the following measurables and objectives:
·  Support KPI Performance Metrics
·  Perform Timely Safety Incident Reporting and Monitoring
·  Maintain zero Recordable and Lost Work Day Case Injuries
·  Ensure 100% Safety PM Completion & Corrective Maintenance
·  Lead Safe Work Practices through pre-task safety planning
·  Support cost saving initiatives

People Management Responsibilities:

·  Ensure timely completion of annual performance goals for Client, People, Growth, & Cost
·  Maintain “0” Recordable and Lost Work Day Case Injuries
·  Embrace JLL #1 Team Culture to provide individual & team recognition
·  Coordinate GM Tradesmen vacation scheduling and other absence coverage
·  Perform timely Safety Incident Reporting and Corrective Action
·  Support the Training Coordinator role to maintain required employee training schedules
·  Complete all scheduled training before required date
·  On-Call Responsibilities
·  Provide Supervisor responsibilities for the following Tradesmen
·  Machine Repair
·  Electricians
·  Pipe Fitter
·  Millwright
