Job description



Job Responsibilities

•    Mail Distribution
•    Process outgoing shipments (Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL)
•    Process incoming shipments and deliveries
•    Familiarity with creating commercial invoices for international shipments
•    Occasional coordination of Freight Shipments
•    Preferred background in shipping and receiving
•    Perform hospitality services and minor housekeeping items
•    Perform breakroom services
•    Provide reception relief as needed
•    Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies
•    Stock copy rooms and printing devices
•    Provide support for small office moves
•    Set up and tear down conference rooms
•    Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts
•    Minor plumbing repairs
•    General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems
•    Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
•    Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested
•    Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned
•    Maintains responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency.
•    Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis regarding quality and competitive pricing
•    Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors
•    Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
•    Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
•    Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
•    Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.
•    Maintains tools and orders supplies as required for installation and repairs
•    This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours for emergencies.

•    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
•    Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
•    Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
•    Good verbal and written communications skills are required
•    Skilled and physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, and operate required equipment
•    Completion of written documentation is required.
•    Subject to call 24 hours per day and required to work in all weather conditions
•    Completion of an applicable technical training program is required.
•    All other duties and tasks assigned.
•    Sort and collate mail
•    Dispose of junk mail
•    Responsible for directing Janitorial
•    Documentation as needed, reports and spreadsheets
•    Ability to use work order system, Microsoft applications
