Role purpose

The MAC Operative will work as part of a growing team currently across 3x offices and will act as a support role to a number of Facilities functions to ensure the effective running of FM.

What this job involves

·  Main responsibility of this role is to assist in management of soft services as follows:
·  The main responsibility will be to co-ordinate with moves management companies or conduct personally (under approximately 15 people moves) agreed moves in line with the space changes set by the MAC Coordinator.
·  Maintain space view records by updating with all staff changes and move alterations.  Any changes to rooms, layouts, desks also to be advised and followed up with the space designer in MPK.
·  Provide all move plans, FAQ’s and communicate notes for all moves including updating social posts in terms of office moves.
·  Conduct office tours for visitors, students and clients as requested by FM and ensure professional at all times and any unanswered questions are followed up.
·  As required, support or perform moves out of hours (evenings or weekends)
·  Act as a back-up to the MAC Coordinator for professional meeting and greeting external contractors, guests and temporary personnel.
·  Oversee temporary staff when periodically on site to conduct utilisation studies across all meeting rooms.
·  Ensure appropriate follow up with customers in terms of updating tasks, responding to social posts and managing face to face interactions
·  Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and service orientation to provide optimum customer satisfaction

·  Experience in a hands-on role working within a dynamic Facilities environment.
·  Experience in space alterations.
·  Outstanding customer service skills with the ability and confidence in communicating to customers at all levels, both written and verbal.
·  Ability to maintain professionalism at all times and be an ambassador of the team.
·  Ability to multitask, use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
·  Be an excellent team player with the want to go above and beyond for each other.
·  Proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint.
·  Flexibility required within working hours and days to flex to customer requirements.
·  Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role, in particular within a customer facing Facilities environment.
·  Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in relation to works carried out and availability.
·  Demonstrate customer skills experience.
·  H&S or Facilities qualification desirable.
·  Experience in partnering with contractors.
