Journeyman Industrial Electrician

Job description

Join our Facilities Team at an exciting Life Sciences account in San Jose! This is a 1st Shift position supporting (3) Buildings @ 450K sq. ft.

Responsibilities:

·  Perform corrective tasks and preventive tasks through work order system. Electrical work is the primary job duties but also performs and assists in correcting malfunctions with refrigeration, air conditioning systems; boilers, pumps, valves, piping, filter maintenance, equipment inspection rounds
·  Manage work order task goals of on-time completion and a daily submission of work documents.
· 
Specific duties include but are not limited to: submitting purchase orders requests, developing sources for stock materials and performing periodic checks of maintenance operation inventory levels.

Mange vendors in performance of their assigned work

·  Comply with departmental policy for  a clean and safe workplace. Maintains attaining satisfactory completion of assigned personal and team goals related to a safe work environment and work required for all regulatory compliance  
·  Maintains in good standing all assigned goals for governmental work place regulatory compliance  
·  Must have a strong ability to be successful at achieving  goal results in a team environment

Education

·  4 years job experience at a journey person electrician skill level  
·  High School diploma
·  Two years of trade school type education in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance or construction
·  California State electricians license Required
·  Journeyman's License Required
·  Experience in a FDA regulated facility is Preferred
·  BMS Experience is Preferred
·  GMP Manufacturing Environment Experience is Preferred
