Junior Maximo Developer

JLL provides IBM software and services solutions to a variety of public, private, and governmental clients throughout the world and is looking for a seasoned leader with the vision, experience, and drive to build and lead a global Maximo service line within JLL’s IBM Technology Solutions Practice.

What this job involves:

·  Build the JLL Maximo Practice Confluence pages, during Maximo Practice training/orientation provided by JLL
·  Interact with clients, providing:
·  Maximo subject matter expertise.
·  Maximo application and system administration training.
·  Maximo application support.
·  Gather requirements, architect, and build configured Maximo solutions.
·  Troubleshoot Maximo application issues.

·  Experience with fixed Asset management and/or working within a maintenance organization.
·  Experience using an enterprise class Asset Management system (Maximo EAM preferred)
·  Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
·  Excellent time management and workload distribution/prioritization abilities
·  Able to participate in presales activities such as demos, developing project scopes and estimates.
·  Able to conduct live on-site training for small groups
·  Strong SQL skills (Oracle and/or SQL Server preferred)

Skills:

·  Creative and independent thinker
·  Excellent written and oral presentation skills
·  Ability to work without extensive supervision or direction
·  Ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines
·  Strong communicator who is comfortable working with senior/executive management
·  Maximo Experience preferred – however for the right candidate we would consider individuals without the below experiences:
·  Technical experience with Maximo including designing, developing, and implementing high quality modifications, interfaces, conversions, and business process changes for Maximo systems
·  Deep understanding of Maximo data structures, application designer, and workflow design
·  Familiarity with Maximo Integration Framework capabilities and integrations with external systems.
·  Experience installing and configuring a Maximo, WebSphere, and IBM HTTP Server
·  Experience designing, developing, and deploying BIRT reports.
·  Software development experience (Java or .NET, web preferred)
·  Travel: 25-30%. Travel and volume of travel may be dependent on client load and vary in intensity by month.
