Front-End Developer

Job description

The Front-End Developer is part of a team of data analysts/engineers and has overall responsibility for producing, maintaining and directing the ongoing development of the user interfaces and analytics visuals, that serves as the foundation for JLL client’s global real estate portfolio planning function, based in Mapletree Business City. 

The Front-End Developer will oversee the following functions:

· 
Understand business priorities, and balance these against operational and technical needs to design and architect products

· 
Work cross-functionally to integrate front-end components with back-end databases and applications

· 
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs 

· 
Find ways to optimize products for maximum speed and scalability

· 
Participate in building the long term vision on product and application offering 

Skills and qualifications: 

· 
Engineering background with a computer science related degree or relevant work experience

· 
Programming experience with Javascript

· 
Product mindset, committed to building the best user experience 

· 
Pride in ownership, initiative and collaboration

· 
Effective communicator, problem solver and ability to execute with minimal supervision

· 
Solid commitment to quality designs, automated testing and documentation

Preferred: 

· 
Experience in web app development 

· 
Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

· 
Client-facing experience to understand and implement business requirements
