POSITION OVERVIEW

JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Human Resources Business Partner (“HRBP”) to deliver a broad range of consulting services in support of our business objectives and people strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Be an advisor to management and staff on all matters pertaining to human resources (i.e. legislative compliance, performance management, labour/employee relations, compensation, training & development, etc.) across Canada.
·  Collaborate and partner with business stakeholders and HR Centres of Expertise to execute key human resources initiatives, including:
·  Performance Management
·  Compensation Planning
·  Talent Management

·  Act as a change agent for HR transformation, and actively seek opportunities to improve HR practices, processes and tools
·  Use internal networks and leverage your HR experience to provide best practice solutions and support development and execution of strategy, policy and practice and business initiatives
·  Act as the subject matter expert on legal, regulatory requirements to ensure employer compliance
·  Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, maintain an engaged workforce and retain the best talent
·  Analyze and identify complex people issues and trends and recommend appropriate actions

QUALIFICATIONS

·  5+ years of relevant work experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role providing consultation to senior level management and staff on employment and labour law, talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, organizational change and development 
·  Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues and investigations
·  Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate through a complex, multi-faceted organization with multiple stakeholders across geographies and adapt to changing business priorities
·  Strong commitment to customer service and can operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders
·  Possess a professional, yet personable demeanor with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
·  Solution oriented mindset and a creative problem solver with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise
·  Ability to lead, coach and advise management teams, both virtually and locally
·  French fluency, oral and written, is a definite asset
·  Experience working with Workday is a definite asset
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) is required
·  Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Labour Relations
