Your day to day
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor and general guidance of the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group brand and hotel’s policies and procedures; is responsible to keep guest rooms and adjacent areas in a clean and well maintained condition that meets the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, and One Team while delivering a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life.
What we need from you
Physically fit for operations work and willing to extend extra hours if required. High School Diploma or equivalent. You should be between 21-35 years of age. At least 2 years experience as Room Attendant in Hotel of good standing. Must be conversant in English and Arabic would be added advantage. This job requires ability to perform the following:• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 200 pounds• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility• Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility• Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling.
