Your day to day
We have an exciting opportunity for you as Reservations Agent to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina. As a Reservations Agent, you are responsible to achieve the best possible results in terms of maximizing hotel’s occupancy by terms of getting and inputting reservations. To ensure guests satisfaction and loyalty through quality guest service taking into account the brand standards and your role will include key responsibilities such as: • To download bookings from external reservation systems• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation, and local area & attractions• To ensure all VIP and special requests are handled efficiently and accurately• To have full knowledge of all rates, room types, overall hotel product and hotels primary competition• To check correspondence on a daily basis before arrival date and ensure all relevant information is acquired and fully documented• Check the no show record as well as pending reservation• Check the system on reservations for the next two weeks and inform the sales team to fulfill sales leads accordingly• Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and apply rate managementCheck on pending visa or expiring visa’s which need to exit the country
What we need from you
The ideal candidate must 1 to 2 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a 4* or 5* city hotel in Dubai and has strong capabilities in handling technicality of revenue-generating mediums & organizing, detail-oriented and, with ability to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Also must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
