Your day to day

Join us as a part time Porter at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay located in Sydney’s exclusive leafy green Eastern Suburbs. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can join our Concierge team who will welcome hotel guests with personalised service and seamlessly to assist their journey either arriving or leaving the hotel and assist as a first point of call for guest queries throughout each stay, as well as assisting guests with their luggage, valet parking services.

What we need from you

Ideally, you will have previous experience in customer service or in a Porter role with relevant qualifications in Hospitality or related studies. You will have excellent knowledge of Sydney and warm articulate communication skills. In your role you will be responsible for acting as a first point of call for guest queries throughout each stay, as well as assisting guests with their luggage, valet parking services. You will also hold a full valid NSW drivers license for both manual & automatic vehicles and have unlimited working rights in Australia. You'll have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and providing a memorable guest experiences.
