IHG Army Hotels Fort Leonard Wood is currently hiring for a full-time/second shift (3pm – 11:30pm) Laundry Attendant in our Housekeeping department.  The starting rate of pay for this position is $11.98 per hour.

Your day to day

This position has overall responsibility for cleaning and storing linens in a timely, organized manner for the hotel.  This includes but is not limited to:  receiving soiled linens, sorting all articles by kind, color and degree of soil, operating washers/dryers, folding/storing clean linens.  You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the laundry areas and other duties as assigned.

This position requires the ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds, pushing and/or pulling heavy objects up to approximately 400 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and standing on feet for long periods of time.

·  Must be able to work a flexible schedule (am/pm, weekends/holidays)
·  Must have excellent hospitality skills
·  Good communication skills
·  Be able to work in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment
·  Must be able to gain entry on Federal Military Installation
