The hotel will boast 269 tastefully decorated rooms, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotels neighborhood story, the story of Dubai creek. Other facilities that our guests can expect include an infinity pool deck, fully equipped fitness center and our neighborhood café and bar, both offering seamless service and array of experiences reflecting this expressive neighborhood.

Your day to day

In a nutshell, you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as: 

·  Dealing with suppliers for hotel uniforms.
·  Supervise and monitor the performance of the laundry employees in order to maintain established standards and provide efficient service to the guests. 
·  Responsible for proper handling of guest and house laundry and establish standards and procedures to ascertain quality of work performed.
·  Liaise with linen room to ensure that there is adequate clean linen and uniforms and maintain a neat work area.
·  Follow up with engineering department on preventive maintenance and repair orders.
·  Counter checks that all items processed are spotlessly clean as per hotel standards and guest satisfaction.

The role will also have a hands-on approach in performing Laundry tasks from time to time, thus the ideal candidate must be knowledgeable and competent on Laundry Operation. This role would also assist management in motivating and coaching employees.

Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is scheduled to open Q2 2020 and we are now seeking a polished and lively Laundry Supervisor to take care of our guests and fellow colleagues’ laundry.

You'll report to the Housekeeping Manager, and you’ll play a big role in supporting the overall success of the hotel.

The right fit for this role is someone who has solid hotel background with an energetic and fun personality. He/She should be passionate about people and hospitality. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. If you are this person, we’d like to meet you.

Ideally, you will need to be flexible with working hours and be a team player. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role in Laundry. You will be an enthusiastic individual who can communicate easily with both your fellow team members and guests.
