As a Sales & Marketing trainee you will be in charge to coordinate and assist in the daily work flow and administration in the sales, conferences and marketing department.
Your day to day
• Weekly Sales & Marketing meetings, including revenue meetings• Assist with small marketing & promotional projects• Assist with weekly data input and analysis• Shadow Sales Managers on appropriate sales calls or site inspections• Assist as required with client events• Assist Director of Sales & Marketing in monitoring monthly working schedule, vacation schedule and stationary stock• Assist and in later stage conduct site inspections for conventions & business meetings• Assist in Managing our IHG Business Reward loyalty program for local bookers• Share responsibility for maintaining sales files as accurate as possible• Allocate time to encourage a pro-active sales approach by contacting over the phone corporate prospects for future business (Telemarketing)• Assist Director of Sales & Marketing in any of his additional tasks, depending on the trainees’ abilities.• Monitor competitors activities and assist in marketing intelligence• Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections• Initiate and prepare tenders for business• Assist in the evaluation of sales & marketing activities• Collateral input• Execute advertising/creative briefs in a timely manner• Social media planning and input
What we need from you
• Great communication skills• Demonstrate a real “Service” attitude• Fluent in English and Either Dutch or French are mandatory. Any other language is an asset!• Initiate and prepare tenders for business• Assist in the evaluation of sales & marketing activities• Collateral input• Execute advertising/creative briefs in a timely manner• Social media planning and input• Result orientated and driven• Well-groomed appearance
