KEY RESPONSIBILITIESJob SummaryUnder the general direction of the Executive Housekeeper and his/her delegate, and within the limits of established IHG and local Hotel policies and procedures, is responsible for collecting and distributing linen and guest amenities as needed.
Your day to day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Collects and distributes linen and guest amenities to all Hotel guests.• Cleans and maintains daily assigned areas according to set standards and procedures and daily work schedule.• Maintains equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair as per standard.• Stores equipment in appropriate storage areas.• Maintains a thorough knowledge of the Hotel, public areas, rest rooms and surrounds layout in order to assist guests.• Reports and submits lost and found articles to superior immediately.• Checks all keys are correct and function easily.• Cuts all required keys.• Checks all telephones are hooked up and numbers are correct.• Assists with bellman duties.• Ensure housemen room is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times• Runs general Housekeeping Office errands.• Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.
