Join us as our Housekeeping Supervisor, at the flourishing heart of voco® Oxford Thames Hotel, as a Housekeeping Supervisor you will assist the Head Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper in the management, preparation, set up and service of the Hotel through maintaining and improving the standards and quality of service.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will be expected to,

·  Clean and service bedrooms and public areas as required.
·  Assist with counting and logging soiled laundry and raising collection sheets for the Laundry company
·  Restock service cupboards as required.
·  Conduct daily room inspections, to ensure in line with company standards.
·  Monitor public areas for cleanliness.
·  Delegate duties to staff at appropriate times in a positive manner and monitor progress, keeping staff motivated through regular training.
·  Have a full understanding of the duties and responsibilities of room attendants, including all aspects of related Health & Safety procedures and COSHH procedures.
·  Be able to identify training needs and assist in the personal development of all staff. Carry out quality training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business.
·  Create a team environment which promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the department and hotel.
·  Ensure effective communication within your team by holding regular briefing sessions and attending hotel meetings as required.
·  Handle promptly and efficiently all guest needs, inquiries, Lost Property inquiries, requests and complaints where appropriate.
·  Communicate in a professional and efficient manner with all other Hotel Departments, and ensure all housekeeping staff does the same.
