Your day to day
We’re currently looking for a full-time Handyperson to join our Engineering team. This role could be the perfect next step, whether you are an experienced hotel Maintenance person, or if you are wanting a change of scenery to experience all that hospitality and hotels have to offer! You’ll need to be a self-starter and able to work collaboratively as the role involves both individual and team projects in ensuring the Hotel’s equipment and facilities operate efficiently for our guests and colleagues. A trade background will support your success – particularly electrical, carpentry, painting or plumbing.
What we need from you
· Experience in maintenance, hospitality industry experience desired but definitely not essential.
· Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload.
· Be a team player with a collaborative approach to work as well as able to work autonomously on shift.
· Flexibility will be key as our team supports the hotel operational needs, with shifts generally falling between 7am and 9pm across a 7 day rotating roster.
· Full working rights in Australia.
