Your day to day

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Guest Relations Supervisor or delegate and within the limits of establishing InterContinental policies and procedures, responsible for all aspects of the Guest Relations section to deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life. Build a strong relationship with regular guests, frequent guests in hotel outlets and all other departments in the hotel. • Update guest history according to guest preferences and feedback given throughout their stay• Enrol new IHG Rewards Club members and capture their email addresses as well as full contact details to ensure targets are met on a monthly basis• Ensure that VIP arrivals are prepared and IHG Rewards Club members are recognized as per the company guidelines and the target is achieved at the end of the month• Escort guests and VIP guest to their allocated rooms• Do room inspections for VIP guests and deliver room amenities to their rooms, ensure rooms are not changed upon arrival and follow up in case allocation was changed• Carry out guest courtesy calls for in-house guests on a daily basis and follow ups are done accordingly• Send pre arrival emails or conduct pre arrival calls and send post stay emails to IHG Rewards Club members• Handle guest complaints immediately and follow-up on action thoroughly.• Assist Front Desk Agent whenever help is required

What we need from you

3 Minimum 3 Year experience in equivalent position Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration, plus 1 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience in a luxury hotel. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
