Your day to day
• Assist the DOS in developing and leading the sales force.• Responsibilities include: • Guide the sales team to maintain and develop a relationship with the hotel key accounts and identify new potential accounts.• Responsible and accountable for the IHG RFP program and use the program to maximize the hotel market share from the corporate segment.• Manage the relationships with the key accounts of the hotel locally and globally while maintaining the relationship with the IHG KAD’s through regular contact, required business cases.• Achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy of the hotel and self.• Support the hotel with the needed market intelligence through attendance at various events.• Ensure all databases, clients’ profiles, and promotions are up-to-date at all times.
What we need from you
• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification and prior experience in corporate business development.• Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required. Must speak English. Other languages preferred. This job requires the ability to perform the following:• Arabic Speaker• Fluency in English• Good communication and administrative skills• Ability to be self-motivated, organized and demonstrate good teamwork• Computer literacy (Microsoft applications)• Opera, Delphi• Pro-active approach, and the ability to meet deadlines• 7 years of prior experience in Sales & Marketing in a five-star environment, and 3 years of prior experience in a similar role
