The Veterans Bbenefits Admin Subject Matter Expert is accountable for providing subject matter expertise on the disability compensation or pension claims process as well as VBA's mail intake process for these benefits. The VBA SME shall reduce the reliance on VBA for requirements elicitation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  3+ years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) working at a VBA Regional Office supervising or serving as a management analyst in a capacity associated with mail intake. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
·  Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
