Testing and Conversion Coordinator

Job description

The Coordinator will assist our clients in the deployment or upgrading of SAP solutions by supporting project teams and clients in aligning business needs with SAP module and solution functions. They will be actively involved in project phases and technological solution support.
Main role and responsibilities :
·  Set up a knowledgeable and professional team for their assigned module at the Centre of Excellence.
·  Monitor testing progress. Prepare and publish progress reports, hold daily bug triage calls, ensure bugs are reported and classified properly and regularly follow up on bug correction advancement with cross-functional teams.
·  Produce the detailed plan including all conversion steps and their associated tests.
·  Ensure the detailed plan is executed properly and the data is validated by cross-functional teams.
·  Keep the conversion dependency model up to date.
·  Support team members in their various assignments at client sites.
·  Provide strategic support to LGS-Québec management regarding the development of the SAP Centre of Excellence, particularly of their module.
·  Lead the definition and design of functional requirements at client sites and direct them to the corresponding modules and functionalities.
·  Serve as a module leader during design sessions and collaborate with various stakeholders and developers (including third parties) to gather and analyze requirements and design solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Education: Bachelor's degree or DCS in a related field
·  10 years of experience in the configuration of at least 1 SAP module
·  Experience on at least 10 projects to implement new functionality in SAP from the design and data conversion phases to release
·  Expert knowledge of the functional configuration of at least 1 SAP module
·  Strong sense of leadership and commitment
·  Solid understanding of trends in business management systems
·  Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
·  Results-oriented approach and ability to meet service level agreements
·  Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
·  Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic work environment
·  Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change
·  Mastery of the analytical skills involved in assessing operational needs and problems and managing complex issues in order to propose profitable solutions
