The SAP on Linux on IBM Power Team is looking for talented and experienced software developers.
SAP on Linux on IBM Power is used in business-critical solutions (including the in-memory database HANA) and the on-site development team at SAP ensures that these solutions run optimally on the IBM Power architecture.

In our team you work in a varied and dynamic development environment, which includes design, implementation and testing of a top product. You make sure that the solutions match customer needs and their expectations in terms of performance, stability, maintainability and user-friendliness are exceeded.
As part of the Red Hat acquisition by IBM, we are looking for talented developers who are familiar with Linux in general and with Red Hat in particular. Projects include:
· Optimization of a high availability solution in the complex interaction of SAP, Red Hat Linux and IBM Power
· Integration of new Red Hat features in the SAP environment and optimization on IBM Power
· SAP performance optimization on Red Hat
· Containerized SAP Applications with Red Hat Openshift
· Test automation on Ansible Tower

The tasks encompass the entire software development cycle: from porting and development through testing and evaluation, customer support, troubleshooting and influencing future IBM hardware and software developments.
The team works intensively worldwide with other IBM Labs as well as with Red Hat and SAP. Therefore, very good communication and team skills are required.
