Senior Cloud Business Analyst

Job description

As a Senior Business Analyst for IBM Public Cloud Operations, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major cloud operations challenges. You will team with best professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the growth strategies of IBM public cloud. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation/out of the box thinking.

Key Responsibilities

· 
Develop and oversee implementation of cloud operations strategies that will drive operational efficiencies, customer satisfaction, growth acceleration, and cost competitiveness for IBM public cloud in alignment with the broader IBM cloud strategy

· 
Drive step-change improvements in cloud operational effectiveness by connecting product developers, offering managers and support teams on key product decisions, measuring key metrics, analyzing key trends and testing hypothesis using rigorous monitoring and analysis.

· 
Strong executive communication skills with impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

· 
May manage and develop 1-2 analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent

· 
Lead cloud service delivery and support efforts across all stakeholder groups with a strategic intent of ease of consumption, supportability and availability. Build targeted insights to inform developers and offering managers on service adoptions, supportability and availability

· 
Manage and sequence delivery of operations intent, build business requirements and execute against the operations strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently

· 
Partner closely with colleagues across the cloud including: Service leads, Offering managers, Support, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, availability, and customer satisfaction

· 
A proven track record of strategic decision making and problem solving based on analytics with strong business judgment, leadership and integrity.

· 
He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to drive the strategic intent of the cloud business

· 
Results oriented with intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment

· 
Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus
