Job description

Your Role and Responsibilities:

The Sales Support Specialist supports the IBM sales organization in their pre-sales or post-sales administrative activities with contracts, proposals, orders. This requires cooperative collaboration with the sales team and other supporting departments and functions (e.g. Procurement, Pricing, Legal, Billing etc.), with the objective to turn business opportunities to orders and then cash in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

Engage in sales opportunities as a client facing professional interlocking with internal and external stakeholders. Put our Client First: focus towards attention to details, use prioritization skills, be a great teammate to us with the ability to work independently providing the best Client Experience possible.
Understand our client requirements and ensure documentation is fully compliant with client specifications and IBM compliance regulations. Able to focus on details with the ability to multi-task, while not losing sight of the big picture. Use appropriate collaborative/ business tools/ templates and coordinate IBM sales team and any other supporting departments. Produce deliverables according to client's expectations, within time critical schedules. Run efficient communication and information sharing sessions based on need to know for the relevant audience (e.g. peers, aligned functions, business controls etc.) Act with confidence in a matrix organization impacted by interlinked processes, Utilise foreign language skills while engaging and cultivating relationships with our Client, Business Partners and a variety of IBM functions.
