Job description
The IBM Global Real Estate (GRE) MEA Financial Analysts play a unique and integral role in driving business decisions,
supporting operations and influencing business results.
As a Senior Financial Analyst you are considered to be a trusted business advisor, working within the company's business
units, ( with a special focus on IBM's services units) as well as in a myriad of specialized corporate functions. In this role you'll be responsible for the preparation and of the IBM GRE forecast and associated analysis of budget, actuals and business metrics and dynamics.You'll interact directly with line management in the business units across Middle East and Africa on the development of forecast and budget, review of variance analysis, and provide ongoing business assessments and recommended solutions. In addition you will manage the GRE financial closing process including interactions with accounting to ensure proper accounting treatment of GRE transactions and will play an integral part in the monthly reporting to GRE Management. You'll also experience opportunities for skills development training with a strong focus on the cognitive transformation of finance

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 year Bachelor's Degree, knowledge in Finance, Accounting
- Knowledge in Finance Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting or Services Accounting
- Knowledge in MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point
- Knowledge of IBMs Cognos suit and SQL will be an advantage
- English: Fluent , knowledge of Arabic and French will be an advantage
- Preferred Accounting/Finance Certified in ACCA, MBA, CA, CIMA, CPA
- Candidates with 4 to 5 years of professional experience in the area of Finance and Accounting preferably from a multinational or audit firm
- Strong communicator, great interpersonal and influencing skills
- Flexible and Adaptable
- Demonstrated good leadership and initiative
