Job description

The GBS Resource on Demand (ROD) Program provides staffing support capability for public sector clients across Canada. As a primary engine to support client staffing needs, the ROD team works with IBM's qualified Vendors of Record as well as directly recruiting qualified subcontractors for staff augmentation requirements. This role has significant interpersonal interaction both with external resource candidates and internal IBM stakeholders in sales and marketing, procurement, operations and consultants. You will be a member of a highly experienced, motivated team that is dedicated to every client's success, excels in providing service that makes a difference and are recognized subject matter experts in recruiting and onboarding qualified information technology subcontractors.

Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) strongly preferred.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  7 to 10 years or more in recruitment of Independent (SUBK) information technology professionals
·  At least 6 years' experience recruiting in ERP technologies, SAP, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards, Oracle, etc. As well as Technical resources such as developers, architects, etc. across various technical platforms and client environments (includes also Project managers, team leaders, risk managers, change management specialists, etc.)
·  Proven ability using candidate application tracking and recruiting tools (ie. Job Boards, LinkedIn, candidate databases)
·  Proven ability in identifying and tapping appropriate talent pools

·  5 years of more experience responding to RFPs, preferably in the public sector
·  Excellent communications skills (written and spoken) in both Canadian official languages ( English and French )
·  Ability to prioritize requirements in a fast paced environment
