Job description

The IBM CIO office is seeking candidates with experience that can drive the deployment of SAP Landscapes (S/4 HANA and other SAP and non-SAP Products) onto IBM cloud platforms to a successful customer outcome. The candidate will possess experience and acts as the subject matter expert for running SAP workloads on various cloud platforms and preferably with IBM cloud platforms, support deployments with SAP guidance, supporting development on cloud adoption model, and providing appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for Development and review technical architecture, solution design for solution development. The candidate will collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects, SAP Basis Administrators & Developers in developing complex end to solution for Enterprise scale solutions on various cloud platforms leveraging automation, logging, monitoring, High Availability, Scalability, and Development Operations (DEVOps) methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for Developing deep relationships with key customer decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates. He or she will also Build a SAP Focused Cloud deployment team with focus on developing assets, key differentiators, and skills that can be leveraged across multiple industries. (purely from an SAP Infrastructure perspective (Inception to steady state support). The candidate will be able to articulate and contrast value proposition of various Cloud vendors (like AWS, Hana Enterprise Cloud, IBM cloud etc.). The candidate will have demonstrated presentation experience and skills to large and small audiences. The candidate will assess the Customers' knowledge of SAP on various Cloud platforms and determine overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners responsible for business process analysis, redesign, implementation, business analysis skills, and process mapping.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  5+ years' of hands-on experience with SAP Basis system administration on SAP ABAP and Java systems
·  1+ years' of hands-on experience with IBM DB2 or other data bases
·  4+ years' of hands-on experience with aix, Redhat, Linux or z/os operating systems
·  Knowledge of testing strategies, technical monitoring, incident management, and performance tuning
