Public Cloud Security Operations Program Manager

Who you are:

IBM Public Cloud Security testing services is seeking a Program Managers to manage the coordination, scheduling, delivery, and reporting of penetration tests, PCI-ASV scans and red team tests. You should be an experienced project manager, managed large agile engineering team deliverables, have hands on experience with leading development tools, rich experience reporting and project dashboard creation, status update to executives and excellent communication skills.

What you'll do:

As a Program Managers, you will play a key role in the success of the IBM Cloud security and compliance organization. The security testing services project manager is tasked with scoping tests with clients, coordinating internal and external resources, requesting and processing purchase orders, and documenting testing outcomes. Ancillary tasks include planning, methodology documentation, event documentation, providing support for planning or troubleshooting to others throughout IBM Public Cloud.

A prime candidate for this position will be passionate about IT Security and have a strong project management and operating security background with a focus on performing penetration tests.

Candidates should also have an interest and understanding of cloud theory and architecture with knowledge of virtualization and container computing. Candidates should have a desire to continue to focus on improving security across the service portfolio utilizing data driven decision making.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  5+ years of experience managing all aspects of security testing projects; including development of project tasks as necessary with input from the client, Technical teams, Architecture teams, and Compliance teams.
·  5+ years of demonstrated ability to manage multiple offerings and environments across a wide variety of customers with differing requirements.
·  5+ years of experience allocating resources appropriately to meet client/program needs and minimize resource contention.
·  5+ years of experience coordinating stakeholder meetings.
·  5+ years of experience creating / Managing an integrated master project plan across multiple offerings.
·  5+ years of experience utilizing PM professional skills to enhance the level of service and quality of client deliverables.
·  Ability to collect technical inputs and create solutions to meet client requirements.
·  Candidate must have managed an IT team in the past.
·  Candidate must have experience with SOC2, PCI, and HIPPA.

·  3+ years of knowledge and experience with security testing services, either traditional and/or cloud-based environments.
·  Skills in a formal PM discipline (PMI or other PM accreditation is a plus).
·  3+ years of experience with security compliance guidelines for NIST 800-53.
·  3+ years of demonstrated knowledge of the security testing industry, key business issues, and priorities.
·  ITIL V3 Certification preferred.
