Procurement Professional

Job description

We are looking for a Procurement Professional who will join the IBM Procurement team. The Candidate will perform tenders, supplier selection, cost analysis and all the relevant sourcing activities. Candidate will cooperate closely with internal Stakeholders, supporting IBM internal and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:
·  Deploy regional sourcing strategies to RCIS market
·  Establish Requests for Quotations including commercial/technical and legal requirements
·  Run local tenders to select suppliers for specific projects
·  Flow down terms from end Customer contracts to supplier agreements
·  Policies and Procedures: Accountable and responsible for ensuring their adherence to the company's policies and procedures and ensuring that all purchase documents are issued and maintained as appropriate.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  At least 2 years' experience in purchasing
·  Willing to work under time pressure
·  Experience in technical consultants/services and software commodity is preferred
·  Very good command of English, both spoken and written
·  Be proactive and results driven
·  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
·  Strong negotiation skills
·  Ability to deal with difficult situations
