Job description

The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible to troubleshoot Oracle database issues via tickets, having the following main activities:
- database user account creating, modifying, dropping;
- schema export/import, object creation, modifying;
- running reports for daily database usage;
- database monitoring;
- modifying database parameters.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Technical Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years experience with Oracle database (installing, configuring, upgrading, performance troubleshooting)
- Oracle DB monitoring knowledge (performance monitoring, schema administration, object creation, database user creation/altering, etc.), implementing backup strategies using RMAN, data pump; developing and implementing security strategies for controlling access to data stored in Oracle database;
- basic SQL knowledge - accessing database objects, creating/altering objects based on developed scripts;
- basic operating Linux OS skills
- English Language: fluent

- a good knowledge of the physical database design
- have technical/hands on knowledge about Oracle RAC(Real Application Cluster) and DataGuard (database replication);
- Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (OEM)
