Job description

- Oracle Database 11g, 12c r1 and 12c r2 Installation, configuration & Administration. Specially REMBO, ECALLS,BIPC,RWDB,DOCCP, RMAN, SOACP

- Database monitoring , optimizing the performance of the database, ADRCI to manage Oracle Database diagnostic data

- Scheduling cron/ jobs/scheduler jobs automated backups & application scripts. Maintenance activities include checking alert log for errors, daily data loading process, daily RMAN reports and resolve error if any, space management, database locking issues, system resource availability and responded to system memory issues.

- Gather stats on database, partition table and non-partition tables on weekly basis

- Golden gate 12c administration monitoring and adding tables in replication.

- Managing ASM disk after daily monitoring or as per request.

- Managing schema objects, tablespace, Partition table, redo log & archive log management and limiting non application

- Granting users approvals on requests

- Clone/ refresh databases if required/requested for development and testing.

- Troubleshoot issue and follow-up with vendors on the same.

- MS SQL database administration.

- Database performance troubleshooting.

- Database design and backup recovery.

- Capacity planning +security +user authentication.

- Command over SQL and PLSQL.

- Wizards GUI and command line.

- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted department
