As a software developer on our team, you will assist our leadership in enforcing best engineering practices and promote high standards for development and testing. You will work in end-to-end development teams to design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software to help hundreds of thousands of IBMers to be more effective.

Responsibilities
· Actively contribute to architectural designs of our microservices
· Iteratively deliver new features by collaborating regularly with product owners, designers, project manager, and other software engineers
· Enforce high standards for software development, testing, and maintenance
· Provide effective and constructive feedback by reviewing others' work

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· 3+ years of experience in writing production code for backend or middle tire services using Java, Ruby, Python, or similar languages
· Computer Science or related degree
· Delivered microservices solutions
· Understanding of Javascript fundamentals

Digital Workplace Engineering (DWE) provides IBMers, managers, and HR practitioners with critical tools and experiences they need to be productive. The DWE team prioritizes solving the problems that keep IBMers from doing their job effectively and delivering world-class solutions that both simplify and enhance the IBMer experience.
