Job description
As a macOS Systems Administrator you will work within the Office of the CIO. You will serve as a Jamf Pro Admin responsible for the Jamf infrastructure and macOS platform engineering. You will work as a member of the Mac@IBM engineering team to share responsibility for the internal macOS deployment at IBM.
Responsibilities
· You bring to IBM strong technical experience, engagement and communication skills
· You will partner with Jamf infrastructure and macOS engineering other foundational services for the successful execution of our strategic vision
· You keep abreast of current developments in the IT industry
· Background showcasing innovative thought and out of the box thinking in systems administration
· You are customer focused, flexible and willing to take ownership of issues and projects
· Ability to manage complex technical challenges across multiple organizations and stakeholders This person will be responsible for supporting over 140,000 Macs globally. This person will have the opportunity to run projects and make enhancements in this environment. They will be spending about 80% of their time completing projects such as managing and curating our Mac@IBM App Store offerings. The remaining 20% of their time will be spent troubleshooting, supporting, and maintaining workflows within the Mac@IBM Program.
