For the Engineering Department at IBM Services in Brussels, we are looking for j Java developer. We love to welcome you to our growing team exposing you to lots of opportunities. I hope you are as excited as we are!

What you will do
You are part of a team that builds new functionalities on a core banking platform. We highly appreciate it if you take initiative and come up with ideas to improve existing programs at our customer. You work on clients side in Belgium and work together with your team and phenomenal colleagues on innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Your passion for Java technology shows in your ~2 years of experience with Java/JEE. The multitude of technologies within this environment requires this experience:
·  Rest, Soap interfaces and back-end EJB services;
·  You have knowledge of frameworks such as JUnit, Struts, JPA;
·  You can work with tools such as IntelliJ, Maven, Git;
·  You are familiar with Windows and Linux and JBoss application servers;
·  You have experience with Web Development Technology: jQuery, Angular JS, Angular 2, css3
·  You speak either French or Dutch as your main language, as well as being fluent in English. If you speak all three that will be a bonus.
·  Eligible to work in Belgium You are driven, pragmatic, goal-oriented and stress-resistant (early) professional. Analyzing and problem-solving belong to your basic skills. You work in a customer-centric way and you have strong communication skills so you can easily collaborate with your teammates, architects, analysts and other partners.
