IBM FileNet (FN) P8 System Administrator

Job description

This position will be a key role as an IBM FileNet (FN) P8 System Administrator with code development opportunities as a core member of the IBM CIO Enterprise Management Team. The job entails performing varying activities that are required to operate, maintenance and enhance a premier IBM Cloud based multi-tenant ECM service.
The ECM offering, is a multi-tenant service, that provides this position a diverse and challenging set of opportunities by supporting a varied community of tenants (“adopters”). Each adopter often brings a unique and different set of ECM requirements based on their business solution needs. The job will entail overseeing core components of the ECM service that can include Enterprise Record Management, Case Manager and Watson search capability and functionality.
·  Job will include communicating with the adopters to do detailed analysis of the requirements, determining a solution design using FN to meet the requirement, writing and or reviewing functional specifications that the adopters or squad will use to create and deploy the solution.
·  Involved in testing, especially end to end testing, to coordinate adopter and or support squad participation.
·  Can include overseeing design and functional specs being created for the adopter's area to ensure consistency with the design, architecture and offering of the CIO ECM service

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

FileNet administrator with 5-7 years FileNet P8 experience, 2+ years with FileNet 5.0 or greater
·  Knowledge of P8 Architecture
·  Successfully performed in the FileNet Administration Role
·  Strong understanding of the FileNet security model, and experience configuring security
·  Good experience with customization of document classes, workflow, and Content Navigator entry template UI
·  Ability to deploy and configure enterprise applications on WebSphere Application Server on a Linux environment
·  FileNet Development (Big Plus)
·  Content Navigator UI customization - (visual widgets, plug-ins, EDS)
·  Development skills in Java/Servlets/JSP, JavaScript, Dojo, XML, JSON, and HTML5 using Eclipse-based software
·  Solid experience leveraging the FileNet and or CMIS API for system integration
·  Excellent communication and collaboration skills including the ability to clearly articulate “blockers”, designs, solutions and status to peers and management
