Source2Pay (S2P) is the sub-domain in the IBM CIO organization that deploys and supports applications for the Procurement and Accounts Payable business functions. Our group is organized into 4 tribes with a portfolio close to 50 applications. We are seeking cloud developers in the applications delivery tribe in RTP in support of IBM's move to hybrid cloud strategy.

You will act as a software developer working with our architects, business analysts & business stakeholders understanding key business requirements and delivering user friendly solutions. In addition, you will play a key role in moving our applications to IBM's next generation hybrid cloud platform hosted on RedHat OpenShift. Responsibilities will include:

·  Assisting the leadership team figuring out best approaches to rewrite our legacy monolithic applications to microservices and container based architecture.
·  Developing new or modifying existing applications based on business requirements.
·  Develop reusable assets where applicable for move to cloud for our application squads

The Team
The CIO S2P squad in RTP has the following priorities:
v Develop the next generation of applications in the CIO Hybrid Cloud to address critical S2P domain needs
v Lead S2P domain level initiatives to optimize e2e discovery, design & delivery on key strategic projects.
v Set and maintain a S2P IT roadmap/ strategy working with stakeholders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A minimum of 1 years of experience in Angular (Between 2.0-8.0)
• Good knowledge of CSS
• Strong knowledge of Java/ J2EE
• Familiar with Microservices architecture
• Exposure in Maven/ Gradle
• Passion for problem solving
• Ability to adapt and learn new technology/ process areas
