Provides data engineering and development services for a project supporting the Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis. Data extraction from source systems, data cleaning and databasing, overall management of data server which supports web-based visualizations; creation, maintenance, and improvement of visualizations in support of delivery.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  US Citizen with active TS//SCI clearance or show immediate eligibility via JPAS or SCATTERED CASTLES security databases
·  Data engineering and/or programming experience (5+ years)
·  Programming skills in Javascript, Python, SQL/NoSQL in a Windows desktop operating environment
·  Database design and maintenance, including designing new tables and relationships, proper database normalization, and tuning using database indices
·  ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development, including merging and normalizing related data sources
·  Data visualization skills using Javascript, D3.js, and Node, Express, and React, and other tools/languages (2 Years) •
·  Technical skills in MVC frameworks, Web API design, natural language processing (NLP)
·  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Computer, Information, or Data Science; or related technical field
