This position resides in Fredericton, NB and is a 4 or 8 (co-op) month work term commencing May 2020 . It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

As a member of the QRadar on Cloud DevOps Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending the capabilities of IBM's QRadar Cloud offerings. You will be expected to demonstrate solid conceptual and technical skills as you develop, implement, and eventually help to run core infrastructure components to of IBM Security's industry leading cloud portfolio of products.

Other responsibilities include:
·  You will work with product owners to implement new components, and new features in existing components
·  You will help your team find and resolve technical debt using agile development practices
·  You will help your team support and run your services in production in a DevOps-oriented fashion
·  You will be an early adopter of new product offerings and help innovate 'what's next'

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
·  Having an eye for detail and curiosity on how things work and why things do not work.
·  Experience with Linux operating systems.
·  Experience with two or more of the following: Java, SQL, Bash, Python, Git.
·  Professionalism in verbal and written communication skills.
·  Ability to manage workload to meet specific deadlines.
·  Must work effectively as part of an agile team and be able to exercise independent judgment. within defined guidelines and procedures
