Job description

Data Scientist, IBM Corporation, Research Triangle Park, NC: Design, implement, manage and orchestrate micro service deployments. Create reports and dashboards to track and monitor services. Build and deploy analytic solutions. Analyze pricing data. Build and deploy statistical and machine learning models. Use technical writing to communicate approaches and algorithms to architects and developers. Utilize Python, Java, JavaScript, Hadoop, Spark, and Extract Transform and Load (ETL). Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Business Technology Analyst or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Python, Java, JavaScript, Hadoop, Spark, and ETL. Full time. W249.
