* Design, implement, testing and operating distributed data processing pipelines using tools and languages prevalent in the big data ecosystem
* Build the ETL pipelines required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using NiFi, SQL and other tools.
* Responsible for implementing methods to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

* Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
* 2+ years of experience developing software with proficiency in programming in Java/Scala
* Strong understanding of Enterprise architecture patterns, Object Oriented & Service Oriented principles, design patterns.
* Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
* Experience in database technology like DB2 / Oralcle / MySQL
* Enjoys working with algorithms and data structures (e.g. trees, hash maps, queues)
* Hadoop/Spark/Flink etc Big Data knowledge will be a plus
* Self-starter who can work independently and proactively
* Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin
