Job description

Cloud Business Operations Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY: Assist in establishing business cases and conducting cost/benefit analysis. Perform detailed, interpretative financial analysis utilizing complex modeling scenarios/activities. Conduct independent research and complex analytical projects involving modeling/forecasting to provide senior management with definitive financial trend data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives. Determine best methodology to apply technology using the overall objective of more efficient and effective analyses. Initiate improvements to reporting and forecasting capabilities in order to generate meaningful financial data to better serve senior management team and facilitate decision-making. Develop strong partnerships with business managers to gain an understanding of underlying business drivers and issues that may affect financial performance. Utilize Hybrid Cloud Cost recovery, Agile/Scrum, Technology Base Management, Process modeling techniques and methods, Process Analysis and Strategic Planning. Required: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience as an Operations Specialist or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Hybrid Cloud Cost recovery, Agile / Scrum, Technology Base Management, Process modeling techniques and methods, Process Analysis and Strategic Planning.
