Job description

The candidate will be able to gain valuable on the job training while building in-demand technical skills. Our clients are some of the world's leading companies and the candidate will be part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs. As an Application Development Specialist, the candidate will be expected to take on challenging project work designing, building, testing and supporting technical solutions. Depending upon the project, the candidate could find yourself developing advanced skills in technologies such as Cloud, Security, Java, J2EE, Javascript, C#, Angular JS, Node JS, Networking, SQL, and Mobile, among others. Candidates will be self-motivated, success driven, and looking to make a difference in the world. They will posses skills in the disciplines of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Decision Sciences, Information Systems, Math and other related faculties, particularly software development or application management and development.

The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from the Lansing Michigan delivery center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). Candidate expected to travel up to 50% of the time, if necessary.
