Receiving Host

Job description

The Receiving Host will generally be responsible for working directly with the hotel's vendors to receive all products ordered by the hotel This includes inspecting all goods and materials for quality and quantity against existing purchase orders, ensuring that proper quantities and dollar amounts are being billed, and delivering these products to the ordering department.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Check the data entry from the procurement department, operating departments and all other users, for its accuracy and receive inventory items and non-inventory as ordered
·  Maintain records of items received
·  Execute receiving and ensure forwarding to the respective warehouses and departments
·  Support the food production to minimize wastage and shrinkage to an absolute minimum related to quality, expiry and spoilage of items received
·  Ensure communication for items received by the operational departments are communicated to the store supervisor
·  Ensure items are received and recorded in the correct quantity and recorded accordingly in the BirchStreet
·  Ensure inventory items required by the various departments are available and received in time
·  Allocate items received into the correct period
