Overview:

The team provides BM services to the IT COO and BMs within GBGFs which includes workforce management, financial management and Third Party Management.

Providing operational BM services consistently to the respective BM/ IT COO by applying standard processes and approach. This includes headcount planning, forecasting, governing headcount controls/ metrics, Open role/ exit management, maintaining data quality, Performance against target, progress on cost challenges, rolling forecasts, cost drivers and “What if” scenarios & planning, Vendor PO/ PR management and invoice receipting

Purpose of the job:

Workforce Manager within WFM pod supporting headcount management and control for the GBGF. Focus will be on supporting headcount AOP, managing headcount forecast and headcount control to meet headcount and $ target. Contributes to overall BM services transformation through improving processes and tooling.

Responsibilities:

1. Headcount AOP in line with direct cost target

2. Management of headcount plan and forecast

3. Compliance to headcount controls and measures

4. Open roles management and approvals

5. Exit Management

6. Headcount actuals vs plan variances, and commentary

7. Drive headcount data quality improvements

8. Support BM services transformation

9. Improve headcount processes and procedures

10. Senior Stakeholder management

Major Challenges:

· Facing off IT COO & Business management & explaining headcount costs/ forecast in an efficient & clear manner

· Managing an accurate headcount forecast by controlling open roles approvals and exit management

· Maintaining good data quality manually in headcount systems which does not talk to each other

· Responding to time critical headcount queries/ exercises effectively

· Prioritisation of requests & analysis
