We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Third Party Support Officer

The role of the “Country HSBC Operations Services and Technology (HOST)” Operational Management Team (OMT) is to ensure that the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to whom they align is fully supported on all aspects of management reporting, governance, risk oversight and administrative support for the implementation and ongoing management of the HSBC Third Party Risk Policy Framework and associated activities. This team will deliver and contribute to the application of necessary local policies, processes, procedures and tools supporting the ‘Framework', working with Global Lines of Business and Functions. The OMT team will drive continuous improvement across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM), specifically relating to internal and external third party service provision in the application (and operationalisation) of the ‘Framework.'

In this role, you will:

Provide support to the Third Party Relationship Managers (TPRM), who act as the primary point of contact for Internal and External Third Parties for Service(s) received from on behalf of the business to ensure ensuring effective management of the relationship and service

Support driving the fulfilment of all required Risk Management Activities with the Third Party through the engagement lifecycle

·
Record, remediate and track control deficiencies and performance issues within a timely manner

·
Monitor and ensure appropriate Management Information (MI) is provided by the Third Party on a regular basis as part of the various ongoing monitoring requirements for the performance of services and controls, as stipulated within the contract or agreement

Take responsibility for the data quality and data assurance of information recorded by the business in aligned reporting tools including Archer, Emptoris and associated Third Party Registers (including CIIOM Register)

Support the country Chief Operating Officer (COO) by producing MI reports to meet local needs, sourced from the global metric and reporting framework whilst coordinating any ad- hoc activities and programmes as directed by country COO
