Experience and Qualifications

·
Minimum 12+years of experience in IT Infrastructure area

·
Worked as Infra SME in at least in one domain (UNIX,WINTEL,Database,Middleware)

·
Have had hands-on experience in Infra Deployment (Server Build)

·
Having Good Exposure to Datacenter Technologies like Network (VPN,WAN,LAN)

·
Good understanding of technologies like Server Virtualization, Storage, Database

·
Good to have experience in Middleware technologies (Messaging, App Server, Web Servers, File Transfer). Example –IBM MQ, WebSphere, Apache Webserver

·
Exposure to Cloud technologies (AWS, ICP, Microsoft Azure). Experience with one of the cloud service would be added value

·
Experience working in relevant environment/s and role i.e. Infra architect in above technologies

·
Experience in Designing end to end infrastructure for ERP and Custom Applications

·
Should have basic knowledge on mainframe environments

·
Experience in creating high level and low level Solution Design documents

·
Experience of being accountable for significant for architectural decisions and provide justification for decisions taken

·
DevOps processes and experience

·
Strong understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery

·
Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, XP

Responsibilities

Understand the business requirements in order to articulate Infra solutions taking into considerations all functional and non-functional requirements
Drives end-to-end solution design

Provide consultancy and support to business units/ platform owners in identifying and implementing effective solutions.

Act as a technical advisor to the platform owners, squad members and software engineers throughout the lifecycle of the solution definition and estimation. Maintain a high awareness of technology and industry trends.

Responsible for the overall solution design and ensure its implementation governance as per the architecture governance framework and technology roadmap.
