Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Senior Manager Resilience Risk Country Assessments, Training and Education.

Principal responsibilities

· The role holder will deliver country assessments and education covering all Resilience Risk types with key stakeholders and C Suite in countries where there is no Resilience Risk presence
· Perform focused executive training, and education briefings focused on key resilience risks and tailored based on outputs from country assessments
· Contribute to developing an annual dynamic plan to ensure overage of Resilience Risk risks in countries and to ensure executives in these countries are supported in managing their Resilience Risk risks
· Reporting to the Resilience Risk Head of Country Assessments, Training and Education
· Close working relationship with stakeholders across Resilience Risk and across regions and countries
· Collaborate with Operational Risk, Global Banking and Global Functions stewardship colleagues on supporting all activities as appropriate
· Support with providing an overarching, independent and objective view of operational resilience by understanding current state of capabilities across multiple risk domains
· Support with developing bespoke training for senior stakeholders to accelerate ever more mature risk management of operational resilience
· Lead the design and delivery of the role holder's components of the annual plan liaising with relevant stakeholders as and when required
· Engage and influence regional and Resilience Risk sub function teams to support delivery of the plans

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Experience in risk functions in global large organizations preferably Information Security, Fraud or operational risk
·  Experience of being part of a team that manages a risk assurance maturity framework
·  Experience of performing assurance and audit review processes
·  Process engineering experience
·  Executive skills, working and communicating with senior stakeholders
·  Experience in dealing with complex matters by adopting a pragmatic approach, identifying core requirements from both a security and a business perspective and translating them into simplified activities that address the problem
·  Transformation and change programs experience
·  Experience in Information Security Risk management processes
·  Professional Security Qualifications is preferable
