We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our Isle of Man Branch team in the role of Mortgage Arranger

In this role, you will:

·
Meet customers' needs mortgage package that is fully tailored to their individual needs.

·
Recognise the protection and financial planning needs of individual customers and make referrals to other areas of the bank, where the customers' wider needs can be met.

·
Seeking out and building on effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area.

·
Spending time training branch employees to ensure they are all fully aware of all mortgage and mortgage related products as well as coaching branch employees to generate quality appointments.

·
Keeping up to date with mortgage and mortgage related products and any related financial issues, as well as with competitor products so that honest and fair comparisons can be made when requested.

·
Staying in touch with existing customers to ensure they are happy with their product and to maximise the chance of additional referrals.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements :
·  A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
·  Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. mortgage arena is desirable but not essential as we are willing to up skill the right person
·  Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Microsoft Office package, Word, Excel
·  Willingness to undertake the training/study in this role, i.e. encouraged and supported to undertake CeMap
·  Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Mortgage Products is desirable but not essential
·  Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
·  Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
·  Handled basic lending effectively with a broad understanding of lending processes, products and their associated risks
