Role Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

To conduct high quality training programs. Prepare and upgrade course artifacts. Create and curate learning content from various learning sources like online platforms. To coordinate and facilitate execution of overall training logistics with the Technology Academy team in a smooth and efficient manner keeping in line with the business goals and norms of Technology Academy.

· Deliver Training programs

· Promote Training programs

· Analyze Learning related data

· Meet the project teams for external training requirements

· Review the monthly training reports.

· Monitor Training Feedback & Post Training Evaluation

· Prepare or upgrade course artifacts

· Review course material

· Create/review Learning Paths

· Deliver training programs as per the goals.

· Spread awareness and promote various training offerings and their objectives to the associates appropriately.

· Work on the Learning Needs Identification (LNI) data and analyze the Learning needs of various project teams.

· Work with project SMEs to evaluate the trainers from external vendors and arrange training efficiently.

· Review the training related data and reports and ensure the accuracy of Training metrics.

· Monitor the feedback received in various training programs and Post Training effectiveness surveys to close any corrective actions on feasible suggestions.

· Prepare course artifacts (revamp or customize) as per needs

· Review newly prepared course material/customized course material/enhanced version/Learning Paths of learning material for accuracy and quality of the content.

· Create or review Learning paths based on the business requirements.

Customers / Stakeholders

· Location Training Manager, Technology Academy Head, Trainers

· Business Facilitators / SMEs/ Learning Consultants

· Procurement, Finance, Tech Support and Admin teams

· External vendors

· Work with Location Training Manager and other associates in the Technology Academy team to close learning needs.

· Work with Business facilitators / SMEs and LCs from various teams to discuss their learning needs and elicit their support as necessary.

· Work with other support teams in the organization for the smooth delivery of the training programs.

· Work with external training vendors to provide appropriate and effective training courses for HSBC associates as per policies and processes.

· Guide the team members on the organizational learning priorities and also best practices in learning

· Demonstrate very good communication and team coordination skills in all training activities.

· Training policies and processes are adhered to.

· Adherence to the organizational guidelines on policies, processes and procedures.

· Ensure all training policies and processes are followed meticulously and monitor other team members.

· Ensure to adhere to all organizational guidelines without exceptions and monitor team members.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role – not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.)

Knowledge and skills required:

· Organizational Training function at a high level in a corporate environment and the knowledge of training lifecycle.

· The various aspects of classroom training, eLearning and blended learning.

· Knowledge of logistics and tools required for the multiple modes of training.

· Knowledge of the learning environment, challenges in planning, scheduling, conducting and organizing training programmes.

· Very good communication skills in English language, oral and verbal;

· DevOps (DevOps Engineer) with strong knowledge of Cloud Computing. (or) Cyber Security with strong knowledge of Cloud Computing (Can be AWS, GCP or MS Azure)

· Professionals with Industry Certifications / credentials are preferred

· Should be a Graduate with good credentials

Experience:

· Should have minimum overall experience of 5 to 7 years and teaching / training experience of at least 3 years in technologies

· Should have proven experience in coordinating and communicating with multiple stakeholders.
