ITID IT Service and Governance Owner

The IT Service Owner will take responsibility for the ongoing ownership and support of the services owned and provide a single point of contact for that service in line with standard IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Lifecycle phases, namely Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic responsibility to define the right service offerings to balance the business and customer needs & demands against costs.
• To ensure that the service is designed to meet customer needs & demand identified within the strategy phase. The service owner is accountable for overseeing the design process, the solution architecture, and the definition of key metrics.
• To ensure the service continues to meet the customer needs & demands, and takes corrective action where necessary.
• To ensure incremental improvements to the service, corrective measures to recover service performance, and eventually the demise of the service when it is no longer required.

Qualifications :

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Certification in ITIL
• Good understanding of network and voice technologies
• Experience in Infrastructure operational management and Business Continuity principles desirable.
