We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as IFRS17 Insurance Finance Data Analyst - 2 year contract.

Principal responsibilities

· Work closely with other key IFRS17 stakeholders to formulate the most appropriate data requirements to ensure accounting data is available in adequacy to enable IFRS17 programme for both countries and group
· Document clear requirement for Technology, review Function Specification, execute effective user testing to identify issues with follow-up, and ultimately help arrive at an undisputed system solution for the programme
· Support Data Management Manager and solidly identify Critical Data Elements for IFRS17 Programme to ensure high standard of data quality by fulfilling data compliance set out in HSBC framework
· Timely identify and manage project dependencies to keep pace with overall timelines with proper documentation at each stage as stipulated under project governance framework
· Provide support on the design and build of Data Lake to keep smooth data management and maintenance in production

Qualifications :

Qualifications

·  Solid working experiences in data and project management from financial institutions, preferably with knowledge in insurance products
·  Strong experience in working with large data sets and using SQL or VBA
·  Experience working on Insurance Ledger or Sub-Ledger
·  Demonstrate good problem-solving skill, able to articulate issues and penetrate into a solution
·  Good stakeholder management skill and able to communicate with IT teams
·  Good sense of computing and writing with clarity is a plus
·  Team player and eager to learn
